Daniel Chatelain

Daniel Chatelain is a Payment and Fintech industry executive focused on innovation and sitting on the board of directors or advisors of emerging companies. He started The BayPay Forum to help foster innovation in payment and commerce. He is the CEO of PayKademy: Payments are difficult, Learning them shouldn’t be.

Daniel is a Mentor at 500 Startups, Plug&Play and French Tech.

Lia Cao

Lia Cao is a Managing Director and the Head of Business Transformation in CIB Treasury Services. She works across the various wholesale payments businesses within J.P.Morgan Chase (Treasury Services, Trade Financing, Chase Merchant Services and Commercial Card) and oversees the governance of client coverage and investment prioritization. She works closely with the sales teams across JPMC’s payments businesses from the Corporate and Investment Bank, Commercial Bank to Consumer & Community Banking. 

Lia has been championing the effort in establishing the Global e-Commerce Solutions Group that designs and scales up cross-product solutions to meet the needs of complex, strategic e-Commerce clients. She also chairs the Global e-Commerce Risk Advisory Forum with key stakeholders from Sales, Product, Global Financial Crimes Compliance, Compliance, Risk and Legal departments of CIB and Commercial Bank. 

Previously Lia was the Head of CIB Strategy in the Americas. She also worked in the CIB Chief of Staff Office on strategic execution. Lia joined J.P. Morgan in 2011 in the Corporate Strategy Group. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, Lia worked as an Associate Principal in McKinsey & Company, a leading global management consulting firm. She spent 5+ years at McKinsey, serving a wide range of banking and capital markets clients. Lia holds a Ph.D Degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Urban Economics and Real Estate Finance. She holds Bachelor and Master Degrees from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.

Philipp Bock

Philipp Bock is the Chief Executive Officer & Founder of allpago. Before founding allpago, Philipp was Managing Director and responsible for the turn-around of the Brazilian subsidiary of arvato services (Bertelsmann AG) in São Paulo, after managing the go-live and roll-out of the global online marketing platform for Microsoft’s Channel partners at arvato. Prior to joining Bertelsmann, Philipp worked as the Executive Assistant to the CEO of Infineon Technologies in Munich and Paris. In addition, he worked at The World Bank Group in Paris, Arthur D. Little in Madrid, eVentures in Hamburg and Schroder Salomon Smith Barney in London.

Philipp studied at the Technical University of Berlin, at the ESCP Europe in Madrid, Oxford and Paris, as well as at the INSEAD in Fontainebleau. He holds a Master of Science in Finance, a German Diplom Kaufmann and a French Diplôme de Grande École. He is fluent in German, English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.

Pascal Burg

Pascal is a Director with responsibility for the Paris office and for EDC’s Travel practice globally. He has been with Edgar, Dunn & Company (EDC) since 1999 and has worked in the London, Sydney and San Francisco offices. Pascal has over 20 years of consulting experience in business strategy for financial services clients in multiple European, Asian and North American countries, and over four years of line management experience within the UK financial services industry. His core competencies include business case development, new product development, strategic planning, market entry strategy, benchmarking. Pascal has managed a large number of strategic planning, marketing strategy and implementation projects for clients including issuers, acquirers, payment networks and large merchants such as airlines, hotels, rail operators, etc. He received his MBA from Lancaster University in the United Kingdom and his Business Degree from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Lyon in France.

Munya Chiura

Munya Chiura is Head of Middle East & Africa Payments for Flywire. He is a native of Zimbabwe and is extremely passionate about fintech, payments, innovation and tech in Africa. Munya is also an Innovation Consultant with the World Bank in Zimbabwe and sits on the Fintech Africa Advisory Board at Village Capital. Village Capital is a venture capital firm that finds, trains, and invests in early-stage ventures solving major global problems in agriculture, education, energy, financial inclusion, and health.

Their new technologies, new processes and new business models will soon disrupt the aging western banking legacy systems. These new banking platform are now being deployed in Europe.
