Latest Trends in Fintech
from Silicon Valley and Elsewhere

Course Duration - 1.5 Hour

Level - Beginner

Course Overview

Innovation and disruption have never been so prominent to change the world we live in. It is even more important in payments, commerce and fintech. Now that the media have understood innovation sells subscriptions and brings eyeballs. It is everywhere and it is starting to get difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Fortunately, PayKademy is not taking for granted what you can read or watch. We are meeting and talking to the people involved with these trends making them a reality. Silicon Valley is a place unique for its capability to create great new ventures but it had become also a place where foreign companies have established a presence or are visiting on a regular basis giving us a unique position to meet many innovators from around the world.

If we look back just a few years ago, Fintech startups were all about replacing banks and cutting the middle man but our industry is not like any other. Regulation and compliance have a huge impact on what we can and can’t do and these constraints/perimeters' parameters define the innovation landscape. So today, it is more about collaboration than real competition.
